3rd campsite - just outside of Dakota, MN

We didn't realize it beforehand, but this campsite was right on the Mississippi River. We enjoyed this beautiful view from the bluff for about 2 minutes before we ran back to our tent to get away from the mosquitos.

This campsite picture gives us nightmares. Dakota had to get up to "do her thing" about 6 times that night, it was BLAZING hot and humid all night, and a thunderstorm kept us awake with thunder and rain for most of the night. This is when we decided we were NOT excited about ever camping again.
